Monsters and Girls Mod adds 12 cute mushroom girl mobs to your world. They love cookies and hang around eating them if you hold one. Tame them with rotten flesh or cookies, then catch them in jars or tiny beds as decorations. Each variant has unique abilities that make them useful beyond just looking cute.
Mushroom Girl Variants
The mod includes 12 different mushroom girl types, with two rare variants based on warped and crimson mushrooms. They spawn naturally in their biomes and are easy to tame. They won’t follow you around by default, but you can use a lead to bring them home if you want.
Special Abilities
Molten Mushroom Gal
Acts as a portable campfire. Hold any food in your hand and right-click her. In a few seconds, the food cooks. No furnace needed.
Soul Wanderer Mushroom Gal
When she attacks enemies, she inflicts the wither effect and gets temporary regeneration. Helpful if you keep her around your base.
Fly Agaric Gal
Poisons enemies she attacks. Good for crowd control in a pinch.
Decorations and Collectibles
Right-click any mushroom girl while holding a jar to catch her and place her as decoration. You can also use tiny beds the same way. Mushroom girls sometimes drop large mushrooms that you can display or craft into wearable hats.
Other Mobs
Mandrake
A new mob that spawns in forests and flower forests. Find mandrake plants on the ground and use bonemeal to summon them.
Wisps
- Found in dark forests, dark forest hills, and swamps
- Follow you when you hold a golden nugget in hand
- Blue wisps drop diamonds, green ones drop emeralds, yellow ones drop gold
- Instantly kill vexes and phantoms, deal extra damage to undead
Spook
- Spawns near spooky houses in spooky forests
- Tame with spectral cakes
- Follows you when holding a soul lantern
- Wild ones are hostile, but tamed ones make attacked mobs levitate
