Minecraft 1.13 Snapshot 18w10d – Coral Reefs Update
The Aquatic Update is ramping up with Minecraft 1.13 Snapshot 18w10d, and coral reefs are finally here. This week’s snapshot brings coral reef generation to warm ocean biomes along with several other quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.
What’s New in This Snapshot
Coral Reefs now generate naturally in warm ocean biomes. You’ll find colorful coral structures alongside tropical fish and sea plants. This is the big feature everyone’s been waiting for.
Water Physics Updates improve how water behaves. More blocks can now contain water, and water no longer passes through solid block faces. Underwater building and exploration feel more natural now.
Phantom Changes give phantoms a weakness. They now burn in direct sunlight, making them less of a threat if you stay outside during the day.
Shulker Box Dyeing gets easier. You can now use a cauldron to remove dye from shulker boxes instead of crafting new ones.
Cloud Rendering received a big optimization. Your FPS should improve, especially in areas with lots of clouds.
