How do I spawn the Ender Chicken and Chaos Chicken?

What breaks the forcefield?

The Chicken Stick from Ex Compressum breaks the shield. You can change this in the config file to require a different item if you want.

No, these chickens don't drop anything. The fight itself is the reward.

iChun’s Mighty Ender Chicken Mod adds two boss-tier chickens to the End dimension. The Ender Chicken and Chaos Chicken are serious fights with multiple stages, custom attacks, and shields you need to break down. If you want a real challenge, this mod delivers.

Spawning the Bosses

Both bosses spawn from a simple structure in the End. Make a ring of 8 Obsidian blocks with a Diamond Block in the middle. For the Ender Chicken, throw an egg onto the structure. For the Chaos Chicken, use a Dragon Egg instead. The chicken will crack out of its egg, and the real fight begins.

The chickens generate a forcefield after hatching. You need the Chicken Stick from Ex Compressum to break it down (this can be changed in the config). Melee attacks also work, but the weapon needs to do enough damage. Everything here is configurable, including which dimension spawning happens in.

What to Expect in Battle

These aren’t your average boss fights. The chickens pull out different moves depending on what you do.

Ender Chicken Attacks

Charge – Rushes forward with heavy damage, keeps going until hitting a wall
Laser Wattle – Fires from its glowing wattle, tracks better if you fly overhead
Area Clear – Massive explosion to give itself room to move
Entity Clear – Flaps to knock you and projectiles away
Forcefield Retaliate – Goes berserk when shield breaks, chasing and pecking hard
Spin Attack – Spins around spraying explosive eggs everywhere

Chaos Chicken Attacks

Charge – Same aggressive rush as the Ender Chicken
Laser Wattle – Fires projectiles with good tracking
Area Clear – Explosive blast for space
Entity Clear – Knockback flap attack
Forcefield Regeneration – Regenerates its shield during battle, keeping pressure on you
Strafing Run – Spits explosive eggs with tracking, basically homing projectiles

Installation Requirements

You’ll need Minecraft Forge installed for your version. The mod also requires iChun Util to run.
