Lucky Block Data Pack Overview

Want to spice up your world with pure chaos and blind luck? The Lucky Block data pack brings the famous Lucky Block concept to vanilla Minecraft, no mods required. Just craft or find a lucky block, break it, and roll the dice. You might walk away with stacks of rare enchanted gear. Or you might not walk away at all.

This data pack gives you everything you need for high-stakes gambling with blocks. Every lucky block is different, every break is unpredictable, and every reward (or death) is worth the risk.

What’s Included

Lucky Blocks with Tons of Possibilities

Break a lucky block and get one of dozens of random outcomes. Enchanted diamond pickaxes, stacks of emeralds, hostile mob spawners, instant teleportation, you name it. Some outcomes are actually useful. Some are just funny.

Works With Resource Pack

This data pack needs the included resource pack to display properly. Download both the data pack and resource pack files below.

How to Install

1. Download both the data pack AND resource pack files for your Minecraft version
2. Open your .minecraft folder and find the datapacks folder (create it if it doesn’t exist)
3. Drag the data pack .zip file into the datapacks folder
4. Do the same with the resource pack in your resourcepacks folder
5. In Minecraft, create a new world or open an existing one
6. Go to world settings and enable the data pack
7. Load the world and start crafting lucky blocks

Version Compatibility

Make sure to download the right version for your game. Data packs are version-specific, so 1.18.1 files won’t work on 1.17.1 and vice versa.
