What You Need

To run HD packs at 32x resolution and higher, you need either OptiFine or MCPatcher. OptiFine is the better choice since it’s faster and gets updated more often. MCPatcher works too if you prefer it.

How to Install

Download OptiFine (or MCPatcher). If you pick OptiFine, skip to step 3.
For MCPatcher: Run the mcpatcher-X.X.X.jar file and click “patch”.
For OptiFine: Install it like any other mod by opening minecraft.jar and placing the .class files from the OptiFine zip inside.
Download HD Resource Pack from the link below.
Open Minecraft and go to Options > Resource Packs.
Click “Open Pack Folder” and paste the downloaded file there.
Select the pack in-game and activate it.
