Guitar Data Pack for Minecraft

Want to add some music to your world? This Guitar Data Pack puts a playable guitar right into Minecraft. It’s simple, it works, and it does exactly what you’d expect. Craft a guitar, hold it, and start playing.

What You Get

• Playable Guitars: Craft your own guitar using basic materials and start making music
• Easy Controls: Right-click to play, Shift + right-click to switch strings, jump to change the tone
• Quick Access: Use /function guitar_datapack:give to give yourself a guitar instantly in Creative mode

How to Craft a Guitar

Drop these items on a Crafting Table:

• 1 Stripped Oak Log
• 1 Stripped Spruce Log
• 3 Strings

Once you have your guitar, hold it and use right-click to play. Press Shift while right-clicking to switch between strings, and jump while holding it to change the pitch.

Installation

Important: This data pack requires the resource pack to work properly. Install both files or you won’t see the guitar correctly.

2. Download both the data pack and resource pack files below
3. Place them in your world’s datapacks and resourcepacks folders
4. Create a new world or reload your existing one to activate the pack
