What versions of Minecraft work with this map?

Ground Zero works on Minecraft 1.16.x through 1.20.4. Stick to these versions or the map may not work correctly.

Can I play this map in multiplayer?

Yes. Upload the map folder to your server's world directory and restart the server. All players will be able to join the world together.

Why does the map require Render Distance 12 or higher?

The map's performance and visual quality depend on higher render distance. Lower settings can cause lag and visual glitches that make the map harder to play.

Are the CTM rules different in this map?

Ground Zero CTM Map 1.20.4, 1.19.4

Ground Zero is a CTM (Complete the Monument) map that turns everything upside down. Every single mob has been replaced with creepers. That means constant explosions, unpredictable chaos, and death around every corner. It’s made by GalacticAC and it’s genuinely intense.

This isn’t your typical CTM experience. The map includes 18 different creeper variants, so you’ll face different explosion patterns and behaviors depending on what you encounter. You also get custom loot throughout the map with some unique mechanics that’ll help you survive the madness. Before you start playing, read the rules carefully. Ground Zero has some tweaks to the standard CTM ruleset that matter. Check your advancement tab too – it contains helpful info about what you need to do.

What to Expect

If you like CTM maps but want something wild, this is it. Constant creeper threats mean you need to be careful with every step. The custom loot helps balance things out, and the different creeper types keep you guessing. It’s challenging without being impossible, assuming you can handle the explosions.
