Floor Mats Mod Overview

Floor Mats Mod adds large multiblock pressure plates to Minecraft. If you build redstone contraptions or want fancy floor activation systems, this mod gives you that. Instead of tiny vanilla pressure plates, you get floor mats in different materials, each with their own behaviors and crafting options.

What Does Floor Mats Mod Do?

The mod creates pressure plate blocks that connect to each other. Only mats of the same type will link up, so stone mats connect to stone mats, wood to wood, etc. Stone and wood mats work like normal pressure plates of their material. Silver and gold mats are special: silver only activates for the player who placed it, and gold only activates for players. Floor mats also pulse redstone signals whenever the block underneath them receives a redstone update from any source.

Installing Floor Mats Mod

You need Minecraft Forge installed. Here’s how to set it up:

3. Download the Floor Mats Mod file
4. Open your .minecraft folder and go to the mods subfolder
5. Drag the mod jar file into the mods folder
