How to Use the Addon
Getting Started
- Grab the “Fake Chat & Fake Join” item from creative mode or use
/give @s fake_chat_join_item - Long press or right-click the item to open the menu
Fake Join Messages
Create fake player join and leave messages like “Herobrine joined the game.” You control exactly what it says and who sees it:
- Name – type the player name
- Joined or Left – choose the action
- Game or Realm – specify the location
- Selector – target players using tags like
tag=!sheeportag=player, r=10 - Translate – messages automatically match each player’s language (requires behavior and resource pack 1.0.5+)
- Private – preview the message first. It shows as “Result:” so other players don’t see it
Fake Chat Messages
Create fake chat messages with a custom sender name:
- Fake Sender – type the player name
- Fake Chat – type the message
- Selector – target specific players
- Private – preview before others see it
Chat and Join Logs
View all the fake messages and joins you’ve created, including who sent them.
