An ender chest is one of the most useful storage blocks in Minecraft. Unlike regular chests, it gives you access to the same inventory from anywhere in the world. Each player has their own personal ender chest storage, so what you put in one ender chest will be waiting for you when you open any other ender chest. This makes it perfect for keeping valuable items safe while exploring.
What You Need to Craft an Ender Chest
To make an ender chest, gather these materials:
- 1 Eye of Ender
- 8 Obsidian blocks
Obsidian is found in the Nether or created by pouring water on lava. Eyes of Ender drop from Endermen or you can craft them from Ender Pearls and Blaze Powder.
