Diving Gear Mod for Minecraft 1.6.2, 1.5.2

What You Get

This mod adds underwater breathing gear so you can actually explore the ocean floor without drowning. It includes 4 different helmet types, each one giving you more air capacity than the last. There’s also an air compressor to refill your gear, plus coral blocks and tools made from coral fragments.

The Gear

Helmets

Snorkel – The basic option. Increases your air capacity by 1.5x. Simple and effective for short underwater trips.

Atmospheric Diving Suit: Tritonia Helm – Doubles your air capacity. Better protection and twice as much breathing time as the snorkel.

Scuba Helmet – Available with single or double air tanks. Single tank gives you 3x air, double tank gives you 6x air. The heavy hitter of the bunch.

Air Compressor

This machine refills your diving gear. Just right-click it with your gear in hand, or right-click it while wearing your gear. Needs a redstone signal to work.

Coral

Pink Coral spawns randomly in or near water. It gives off light and drops coral fragments when you mine it. Looks cool and serves a purpose.

Coral Tools

Craft pickaxes, shovels, and swords from coral fragments. They’re as strong as iron tools but with better durability and work faster underwater. Made the same way as regular tools, just swap out the materials for coral fragments.

Installing the Mod

• Download and install Minecraft Forge
• Download and install LomLib
• Download the Diving Gear Mod jar file
• Put it in your .minecraft/mods folder
• Launch Minecraft

Tip: Install Just Enough Items (Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (Fabric) to see all the crafting recipes in-game.

Version Compatibility

This mod supports Minecraft 1.4.7 through 1.6.2. Download the version that matches your Minecraft installation.
