What happens if I die in a pocket dimension?

You get teleported to Limbo, a dark dimension made of broken reality. To escape, dig down until you find Ancient Fabric blocks and stand on them for a teleport home. Alternatively, starve yourself to death and you'll respawn at your normal spawnpoint.

Can I create my own pocket dimensions for storage?

Yes. Place a Dimensional Door on empty ground to create a personal pocket dimension. It will be completely empty, letting you use it for storage, building, or as a shortcut hub between distant locations.

How do I escape the Monolith?

Distance and respect. The Monolith appears in dungeons and punishes players who break walls or get too close. If you see a giant floating eye, either leave immediately or stop staring at it. If caught, you'll be sent to Limbo.

It’s basically Minecraft’s interdimensional highway system.

Doors and Rifts

The Monolith

Understanding Pocket Dimensions

Place a Dimensional Door on empty ground to create your own pocket dimension. These are completely empty spaces surrounded by black Fabric blocks. You can use them for storage, building projects, or linking them together to create shortcuts across your world.

Dimensions you enter through natural portals or dungeon doors are different. These contain rooms, hallways, and other doors. Some have treasure, some have traps, and some try to kill you. The deeper you go, the more dangerous things get.

Limbo Explained

Limbo is the end zone of Dimensional Doors. It’s a desolate dimension made of broken Fabric blocks and void. If you die in any pocket dimension, a Monolith catches you, or you dig too deep, you end up here. A giant red eye watches from the sky.

To escape, dig down until you hit Ancient or Eternal Fabric blocks (around Y-level 20) and step on them. They teleport you back to the overworld. Other escape methods: starve yourself to death (respawns you normally), build a Nether Portal, or place an unstable door and hope for the best.

Dungeon Pockets – Treasure and Traps

These auto-generated dungeons are filled with rooms, doors, treasure chests, and deadly traps. Common hazards include:

Redstone contraptions that activate when you step nearby
Tripwire hidden overhead and underfoot
Open spaces where Monoliths spawn
Void falls that look like solid ground
TNT traps that can destroy entire dungeon sections

Always bring tools and a way back home. If you need to bail, a Transdimensional Trapdoor gets you straight to the overworld.
