How do I install Defender of Village Addon?

Download the .mcpack or .mcaddon file and tap it to import into Minecraft. Then activate it in your world settings. Make sure Experimental Settings are enabled.

Do I need both Villager and Pillager factions?

The Pillager Faction requires the Villager Faction to work properly, so you'll need to install that one first. The Villager Faction works on its own if you prefer.

What platforms can I use this addon on?

Defender of Village works on all Minecraft Bedrock devices: Windows 10, iOS, Android, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

Protecting villages solo gets old fast. Iron golems are cool and all, but this addon gives you actual factions to help you defend your settlements and crush raid waves. You can recruit defenders from either the Villager or Pillager side, each with different tactics and units. Made by AnhemSteve, a talented Vietnamese modder.

What’s Included

Villager Faction

Build an army of villager defenders. These units work together to protect villages from hostile mobs and raiders. Great if you want to keep things orderly and help the peaceful side.

Pillager Faction

Command illager units for a more aggressive approach. This faction works as a standalone addon or can be used alongside the Villager Faction for mixed combat strategies.

Note: The Pillager Faction requires the Villager Faction addon to be installed first. They’re designed to work together.
