Want to try out copper bulbs before the 1.21 update drops? Copper Bulbs Mod adds oxidizing copper lamps to Minecraft 1.20.1. These bulbs work just like copper in the real game, they oxidize over time, and you can reverse the process with an axe or wax them to stop oxidation.
What’s in the Mod
Copper Bulbs
The mod adds copper bulbs that oxidize through four stages. Each stage takes about five minutes. The bulbs look different at each stage as the copper corrodes and turns darker.
Oxidation Control
You can manage oxidation however you want. Right-click an oxidized bulb with an axe to reverse one oxidation stage and get that shiny copper look back. Or use honeycomb to wax the bulb and prevent further oxidation entirely.
Crafting
The mod includes a simple crafting recipe. You can craft copper bulbs just like you’d expect from the base game.
Installation
Copper Bulbs Mod requires Minecraft Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1.
Setup Steps
- Install Minecraft Forge for version 1.20.1
- Download the mod file from the links below
- Place the file in your .minecraft/mods folder
- Launch the game with the Forge profile
