The Chunkloader Mod adds a simple but essential block to Minecraft that keeps chunks loaded and running even when you’re not around. Perfect for running farms, machines, and other automation while you’re off doing other things.
How Chunkloader Works
Place down a Chunkloader block and it will keep nearby chunks active. By default, it loads a 3×3 area of chunks around it. But you can tweak the config file to change the loading radius:
- 0 = 1×1 chunks
- 1 = 3×3 chunks (default)
- 2 = 5×5 chunks
This means your mob grinders, smelters, and tree farms keep working even when you’re miles away exploring.
Crafting the Block
Install Just Enough Items (Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (Fabric) to see the full crafting recipes. You can also toggle recipes on or off in the config file.
Requirements
Minecraft Forge is required to use this mod.
