Call to Battle is a WWII-themed mod that turns Minecraft into a first-person shooter. It’s got realistic gameplay mechanics, tons of period-accurate weapons, and custom zombie variants. If you want to experience intense combat with actual tactical depth instead of just clicking, this mod delivers.

Core Gameplay Features

Combat Mechanics

• Stances – Press C to crouch (separate from Minecraft sneaking) or Z to go prone. Actually positions you lower, not just a visual effect.
• Part-based damage – Where you hit matters. Headshots are usually one-hit kills, but enemy helmets can deflect shots.
• Damage dropoff – Pistols, SMGs, and weaker rifles lose effectiveness at distance. Bullet drop is planned for future updates.
• Bipod deployment – LMGs and other bipod weapons can be deployed while prone or over regular-sized blocks. Press B to deploy.

Weapons and Attachments

The mod includes standard WWII weapons from major nations, plus lesser-known guns from Italy, China, and other theaters. You’ll find various attachments from the era that can be swapped out through the attachment menu (press N).

Survival Mechanics

• Bleeding – Wounds from combat or zombie hits cause bleeding. Your vision darkens as you bleed out. Use bandages to stop it, or morphine to numb the effect.
• Infection – Custom zombies can infect you. If you’re going down and don’t have a cure, you can press K to end it before you turn.
• Custom Zombies – More menacing variants with creepy sounds. Toggle them in the config file to replace vanilla zombies.

Weapon Controls

• Middle Mouse Click = Melee attack
• ~ = Switch to iron sights (sniper rifles only, if available)
• N = Open attachments menu
• B = Deploy bipod on LMGs/MGs
• P = Place down an LMG or MG

• M = Choose your side

Installation

You’ll need Minecraft Forge installed for 1.7.10 before using this mod.

1. Download and install Minecraft Forge for version 1.7.10
2. Download the Call to Battle mod file from the links below
3. Place the .jar file in your .minecraft/mods folder
4. Launch Minecraft and select the Forge profile
