Board – Minecraft Education Edition Guide
The Board is a special block in Minecraft Education Edition that teachers and instructors use to communicate with students in-game. It’s basically a 2×3 chalkboard where you can write instructions, goals, or additional information directly inside the world.
What is a Board?
The Board is one of three chalkboards available in Education Edition. It’s the largest option at 2 blocks wide by 3 blocks high. Teachers use it to post assignments, directions, or tips without needing to leave the game.
It’s a decorative/functional block designed specifically for the education version of Minecraft. If you’re playing regular Minecraft (Java or Bedrock), this block won’t exist in vanilla survival or creative mode.
