The blackstone wall is a decorative block that came with the Nether Update. It’s basically the wall version of regular blackstone, which is pretty useful if you’re building nether structures or want that dark, polished aesthetic. When you craft it, you get 6 walls at once, so it’s efficient for larger builds.

What You Need to Craft Blackstone Wall

To make blackstone walls, you just need:

  • 6 Blackstone blocks

You can find blackstone in the Nether, mostly in the Basalt Deltas biome. It’s pretty common down there, so gathering enough for your walls shouldn’t be a problem.

How to Craft Blackstone Wall

Step 1: Open Your Crafting Table

First, place down a crafting table and open it. You’ll see the familiar 3×3 crafting grid.

Step 2: Place the Blackstone

Put 6 blackstone in the grid like this:

  • Row 1: 3 blackstone blocks
  • Row 2: 3 blackstone blocks
  • Rows 3: Leave empty

This is the standard wall crafting pattern in Minecraft. Line them up exactly like that, and you’ll see the blackstone walls appear in the result box.

Step 3: Move to Your Inventory

Click the result and drag the 6 blackstone walls into your inventory. Done.
