Ancient Guns Mod Changelog by Versions:

(This is for the 1.12.2 version, completely different to the 1.14.4, 1.15.2 and 1.16.4 one. They can share a lot of things in common, but not his main core code.)

-Buffed: Now, the Blunderbuss Sharpnel Recipe yields 4 items instead of 2.
-Changed: Now you can craft the Cartdrige Former with Acacia and Dark Oak logs.
-Fixed: Small buw where the Flintlock Pepperbox didn't reload properly with a Paper Cartdrige.

-Jumped to this number because i wanted to standarize the versions to come of the mod in all versions, so i do not have to mention the new update with a different number

-Added: Paper Cartdriges. Made with a Cartdrige Former, 1~2 gunpowder, 1~2 paper, a Round Bullet or Blunderbuss Sharpnel and 1 dye, any you like. Avaible:
 -Small Cartdrige (1 paper, 1 gunpowder, bullet), for pistols.
 -Large Cartdrige (2 paper, 2 gunpowder, bullet), for arquebus, musket and rifles.
 -Buckshot Cartdrige (2 paper, 2 gunpowder, sharpnel), for blunderbusses.
Crafting shapeless!
Put the cartdrige, the empty corresponding gun and the Ramrod for getting a loaded gun almost instantly!
Fixed: Bug where the Flintlock Blunderbuss didn't load properly.

-Completely reworked the workspace and names of the items. Is a completely different thing from 1.5 from the technical point of view, so is not an upgrade, but another mod.
-Added: Caplock Double Barrel Shotgun. Has the durability of a Flintlock gun because its crafting requires 2 iron large barrels, 2 caplock mechanisms and a wooden stock.
.Added: Caplock Rifle, 20 damage per bullet.
-Added: Match, Flint and Caplock Blunderbuss, that shot 9 bullets with 2~3 damage each one.
-Added: Hand Cannon, with almost 25~30 damage per shot.
-Added: Cannonball and Blunderbuss Sharpnel.
-Changed: Barrel Former is made with only cobblestone instead of quartz.
-Changed: Now you can only seal the gas from the bullet with paper. The wool sealing has been eliminated.
-Deleted: Drying of the guns with a wool block.
-Added: Drying by putting the gun in a furnace.
-Added: Auto-capping: Right-Click a loaded caplock weapon for adding the cap (If you have it, of course, or if you are in creative).
-Changed: Texture and recipe of the Ramrod. Now it is made with leather and 2 sticks on a diagonal pattern.
-Bugfix where the guns lasted forever. Now Matchlocks have actually 2% chance of breaking, Flintlocks and the Caplock Double Barrel Shotgun 1.4%, and Caplocks 0.9%.

-Small tweak to the recipe of the Matchlock Mechanism.
-Now you can craft bullets with gold (With the same recipe and yield)!
-And also with Steel at a 1:1 ratio! (1 Steel nugget = 1 Basic Bullet).

-Increased the Blast Resistance of the Steel Block to 32. Your Bunker will look nice and will be useful now, but be aware of the End Crystals and Charged Creepers!
-Nerfed the Arquebus: Now it only deals 12 damage per shot.

-Changed the recipe of the Slag Steel. Now it needs a Blaze powder as extra.
-Removed the mechanic of the [no-string] arquebus.

-You can lit the Arquebus match with a Fire Charge now.

-Added: The Arquebus! Same as their flintlock counterpart, but cheaper (Only needs iron for his barrel). Includes the addition of his own barrel and mechanism. It needs a string always, and it can loose it when firing (13 damage x hit, 2% chance of breaking) with a 20% chance. It must be ignited with a torch in the crafting grid in order to be (Ready).
-Changed the name and textures of some components.
-The Arquebus instantly get wet under the rain, and so the next matchlock weapons.
-1.4 will be the arriving of the Matchlock Guns, so this will be the new standart version.
-Fixed a crafting related to putting bullets on the Flintlock Pepperbox.

-For balancing and for preparing the arriving of the matchlock guns, behold: Steelmaking!: Put 5 iron nuggets with a Fire Charge and get 3 Steel Slags! Put them in a oven a voil!: Steel Nuggets!
-Changed the recipe of the barrels and the Flintlock Mechanism.

-Added: The Flintlock Pepperbox! (With all the functionality of a normal weapon, including the "It-get-wet" mechanism).
-Now the rain doesn't instantly spoil your weapons, so you now have a (big) chance to fire under the rain.

-Changed the name of the Flintlock Pistol and Musket for displaying his status (Empty, with gunpowder, loaded, wet).
-Nerfed the recipe of the Wooden Stock: Now it needs a Small Handle at the middle-bottom slot.
-Changed the descriptions of the guns.
-Changed name of the Barrel Core to Quality Barrel Former.
-Changed the range and damage of the Flintlock Pistol. Now it deals 9 of damage per hit.
-Changed the range and damage of the Flintlock Musket. Now it deals 15 of damage per hit.
-Now the guns get wet under the rain and underwater. The code is better here, since now it measures the temperature. The guns doesn't get wet under the snow or in a warm area.
-Bugfix related to firing the weapons in the off-hand. (Advice: It is not recommended to fire dual-wielding).
-For drying the guns, you can either right click it on a dry sponge (Doesn't work with the loaded guns), or put it in a crafting grid with a wool block, consuming it. Staying in the Nether or in the lava will dry your guns too, if you held them.
-Now Zombies and Skeletons have a 8% chance of dropping a Basic Bullet.
